We at Peacock HQ hope that you are all safe and well at this difficult time? As it is a potentially challenging time for many artists, Corsham Town Council have asked if we could send out some information to our creative community. We very much hope that the following links are useful and that you are able to spare 5 minutes to complete a short survey to assess the impact of Covid-19 on our local artistic community.
Thank you for reading. Stay safe.
CORSHAM AND COVID-19
ARTISTS AND CREATIVE PRACTITIONERS’ SURVEY + FUNDING SOURCES
Corsham Town Council has undertaken a research project to find out what impact the coronavirus crisis has had on the town’s economy and the people whose work is based here. We have also been sharing news of funding schemes and the help and advice available.
It is with enormous gratitude that we say thank you to our generous sponsors. Their support allows us to promote the wealth of talent that we have in this area. Thank you!
That’s right! The peacocks are shaking their feathers and getting ready to strut their stuff in 2019!
In case you’ve not already spotted them, the dates of the next Trail for your diary are:
Saturday 5 – Sunday 13 October 2019
We want YOU to get involved!
If you’re new to the Peacock Arts Trail, we are a bienniel arts trail, established in 2013, with the aim of celebrating the arts in Corsham and the surrounding towns and villages in North-West Wiltshire.
We provide 9 days of open studios which gives members of the public the opportunity to meet the artists and see and discover their art. And it gives artists the opportunity to show and sell your work to the public and network with local artists.
Calling all artists to take part in Corsham Town Council’s new tourist trail called the Peacock Feather Trail which we’re pleased to announce will be launched as part of the Peacock Arts Trail this year.
