Maker Spotlights: each day we will be focusing on individual exhibitors, exploring their work and finding out what makes them tick...
Floral Designer Tracey Mosley has a passion for British cut flowers.
She creates uniquely crafted items include dried flower clouds, wall hanging installations, wreaths and 3D infilled letters.
Tracey began when she started drying flowers a few years ago. “I couldn’t bear composting any leftover cut flowers” she tells us! After reading a articles and some old books on dried flowers, Tracey realised that a modern trend in sustainable living included using botanicals in their dried form.
Inspired by the seasons and the natural world around her, and the unpredictability of drying the flowers she grows, you never quite know what colour they will change to or how fragile they will be when they dry.
Tracey works to private commissions from local people and businesses, and enjoys showcasing another way of using British grown flowers. You can visit Tracey's living flower garden and view her arrangements throughout the trail.
