Maker Spotlights: each day we will be focusing on individual exhibitors, exploring their work and finding out what makes them tick...
Dominic is a sculptor working in wood to produce pieces with an emotional response coming from the depths of the unconscious that are personal, sensitive, secret, strong, big and bold.
He draws his inspiration from life experiences combined with cross-cultural influences from his birthplace in Ethiopia, his interest in the human figure and organic structures.
Dominic's studio is both in and outside a massive old agricultural farm building, a former scrap yard sitting in a 2 acre garden with lots of sculpture.
When he’s not using his electric chainsaw (!) you will find Dominic gardening and walking.
