Artist Statement:
I have enjoyed art since my teenage years. After college I taught art in Trowbridge and Reading. I have been a member of various art groups around West Wilts. My career for many years was that of a primary school teacher and art adviser for Wiltshire. After a serious illness I was advised to retire from teaching, subsequently taking up full-time art training and progressing to gaining a 1st class honours degree at The University of the West Of England. At the end of the course I was awarded The Rebecca Smith Trophy for outstanding printmaking and have also won the prestigious Oexmann Trophy.
