Artist Statement:

I am a mixed media textile artist based in Corsham. I've always had a passion for sewing and love to create unique, original textile art. Mainly self taught, I create original cards and framed pictures, inspired by the landscape around me. These textile scenes are created using a variety of fabrics, processes and techniques, including dyeing, painting and manipulating. I will often use discarded linens and lace, layering fabrics onto a base, using machine embroidery and hand stitch to add specific detail. I feel there is a creative side in us all.
