– How you can get involved in our brilliant “Golden Feather Lyric” trail with a chance to win a fabulous £150 in vouchers to spend with artists on the trail.

The Artists:

We hope you will want to visit as many of our wonderful artists as possible. In 2017 we have almost 70 artists and over 40 venues (so make sure you’re wearing comfy shoes!) Click the Exhibitor 2017 list for all the artists taking part, you can browse alphabetically, by artform or by venue and cross reference with our maps.

Entry to all venues is completely FREE. So, check opening times and just rock up! (and possibly loosen your belt as, if you are in luck, you may visit someone who has amazing cake on offer as well…).

The Brochure:

Our gorgeous printed brochures are beautifully created on recycled paper and act as a souvenir or an aide memoir when you’re looking for a special present for yourself or others.

In Corsham you can find them at the Town Hall, The Pound Arts Centre, Springfield Community Centre and the Tourist Information Centre as well as many of the shops and businesses in the Town Centre. They will also be available from art galleries, cafes, garden centres, farm shops and lots of other locations in the surrounding area.

Every artist will have a big stack of them so if you don’t manage to pick one up before the event, make sure you grab one at the first artist you visit.

We do recommend you pick up a hard copy of the brochure but you can view it online here:

Competition! Golden Feather Lyric Trail

Take Part and Win £150!
The glittering (but forgetful) Golden Peacock has visited all our artists and accidentally shed a dazzling golden feather at each venue. Each feather holds a word of a well-known song (a musical spell this magical bird needs to remember, otherwise it will lose its colour). The Golden Peacock is panicking and needs your help!

Help this beautiful bird find as many golden feathers as you can, and make a note of the word/lyric attached to each feather. If you visit at least 25 venues and collect a word at each, you will be entered into a draw to win £150 of vouchers to spend with artists on the trail. (Bonus points will be awarded to anyone who can also figure out which song the words are from!)

Entry forms and details of how to enter can be found on the back page of the 2017 brochure. Venues will also have entry forms you can pick up when you visit.

Please note – entries must be submitted by Monday 9 October. The winner will be announced and contacted by Friday 13 October.

In Summary…

We very much hope that all of the above will keep you very busy for the 9 days of the Trail! Make sure you click on the links, get dates in your diary and book now as the events and workshops will be popular. Though just to remind you again that the Trail and entry to ALL of the venues is completely free – just make sure you check the opening times for the artist’s you’re interested in to avoid disappointment.
