Peacock HQ is delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for a Wiltshire Life Award! Specifically the The Arts, Culture & Music Award for Groups.
The Wiltshire Life Awards are organised by Wiltshire’s leading county magazine Wiltshire Life. There are three nominees in each category, and this year we are up against Marlborough Literature Festival and the Wiltshire Music Centre. Tough competition! But it is the hard work and talent of our artists that has quite rightly been recognised by the judging panel and so we are thrilled to have been shortlisted.
As always, a great big thank you to our exhibitors first and foremost – you make the Trail what it is. And thank you to our sponsors and everyone else who supports us, big or small, it all counts.
The Peacock Committee will be attending the awards in March – fingers crossed for us, and we will report back on the results!
If you pick up a copy of February’s Wiltshire Life Magazine, you’ll spot a fabulous article by the wonderful Rachael Holtom all about our community project – ‘A Walk In Corsham Park’ – an initiative that has now sparked a new town partnership project to continue in 2020. There is also an excellent feature on the benefits of art therapy and rediscovering art in retirement with one of our talented exhibitors, Joy Jeffreys.
